Herb butter roll

Ingredients

Makes one roll:

  • 1 Züger lactose-free organic butter, 125 g (room temperature)
  • 5 g chives
  • 5 g parsley
  • 5 g dill
  • 3 g edible flowers e.g. horned pansy, unsprayed
  • Salt

How it’s done

Thoroughly wash the herbs and flowers, dry and finely chop them. Salt the herbs and flowers to taste and knead into the soft, room-temperature butter. Place the herb butter on greaseproof paper, wrap the paper around the butter and gently roll it into a sausage shape. Twist the ends together like a sweet, place the butter in the fridge and let it harden before cutting it.

Tip: You can also store the butter in a jar. Make sure the jar is airtight, and store it in the fridge.
