Ingredients

  • 400 g Züger Mozzarella
  • 4 large tomatoes
  • ½ bunch basil
  • Olive oil
  • Sea salt
  • Freshly ground black pepper

How it’s done

Keeping the classic Fresh.

Drain the mozzarella and cut into slices about 5 mm thick. Remove the stems from the tomatoes and then cut them into 5 mm slices. Arrange alternating tomato and mozzarella slices on four plates. Sprinkle with olive oil, then season with salt and pepper. Pick the basil leaves from the stems and arrange them on top of the salads. Serve immediately, or chill until ready to serve.
