Chilli fruit salad with mozzarella

Ingredients

  • 200 g pineapple
  • 200 g honeydew melon
  • 150 g nectarines
  • 150 g cherries
  • 100 g bananas
  • 100 g (seedless) white grapes
  • 3 tbsp freshly squeezed lime juice, 3 tbsp freshly squeezed orange juice
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • Salt, chilli powder
  • 2 x Züger mozzarella balls (150 g each)
  • Mint leaves to garnish

How it’s done

Cut the pineapple crosswise into thin slices. Cut the honeydew melon lengthways into slices, then crosswise into thin slices. Cut the nectarines into thin slices. Wash the cherries, pat dry, cut lengthways and remove the stones. Cut the banana crosswise into small slices. Wash the grapes, pat dry and halve lengthways. Mix the lime juice and orange juice with the honey until the honey has dissolved. Season with a pinch of salt and 3-4 pinches of chilli powder. Pour the marinade over the fruit, mix carefully and leave covered in the fridge to rest for one hour. Cut the mozzarella into approx. 1.5 cm cubes. Serve the fruit salad in bowls or on plates and sprinkle with the mozzarella and mint leaves.

Züger tip :If you like things spicy,you can also sprinkle the fruit salad with red chilli slices before serving!
